Saturday Morning Toons

Saturday morning, cereal bowl in hand, cartoons on the TV — Jessica Gorlicky painted that feeling into a 96-piece collection, exhibited in 2013 in her 30,000 sq ft space with an opening night nobody forgot. The Care Bears, the icons, the characters that raised us — in her colour, at her scale.

These are the surviving pieces from that world.
