This is where it all began.
“The Initiation” marks the very first step in Jessica Gorlicky’s radiant Heart Series, created in a moment of total surrender. Painted from a space of unknowing—with no roadmap, no outcome, only the urge to move—this piece channels the sacred act of beginning. Of stepping boldly into the unknown, brush first, heart open.
The form of the heart emerged not from planning but from presence—the result of movement over perfection, exploration over control. Splashes of mint, lavender, coral, gold, neon green and cotton candy pink swirl together like an emotional fingerprint, recording the shift from stillness to flow.
This is the moment of choosing love, of letting go of stagnation, and trusting the creative current to take you somewhere true.
